Condition grading
A practical condition vocabulary for B2B network, optical and datacenter equipment.
New equipment in the condition documented in the quotation.
New open box. Packaging may have been opened; exact completeness is confirmed.
Refurbished equipment. Work performed and test status are specified where available.
Used equipment with good cosmetic condition, subject to item-specific confirmation.
Used equipment with visible cosmetic wear, documented before supply where relevant.
Supplied without a representation of normal working condition; terms must be explicitly agreed.
A grade is only used once it has been assessed
Where a condition grade is not shown on a product page, it has not yet been established for that unit. We do not assign a grade by assumption.
Condition is not the same as test status
Cosmetic or commercial condition and functional testing are recorded separately. The quotation is the definitive item-specific record.
