BR-SLX-9540-48S-AC-F SLX 9540-48S Switch

The SLX 9540 is a fixed-form 1RU routing platform from the Extreme Networks
SLX family, originally released by Brocade. The 9540-48S model provides
forty-eight 10GbE/1GbE combination ports together with six 100GbE/40GbE
combination ports, giving a non-blocking switching capacity of up to
1.08 Tbps and forwarding capacity of up to 720 Mpps.

It is aimed at data centre interconnect, WAN edge, internet exchange and
colocation deployments, and carries hardware scale suited to that role:
640,000 MAC addresses, 256,000 IPv4 and 64,000 IPv6 routes in hardware, and
4,096 VLANs. The platform runs SLX-OS and supports IPv4, IPv6 and, with the
advanced feature licence, MPLS/VPLS, BGP-EVPN and Carrier Ethernet 2.0.

This part number is the AC-powered 48S model. The -F suffix in the part
number denotes the front-to-back airflow variant; the platform is also
orderable back-to-front as the -R variant. Airflow direction cannot be mixed
within a chassis, so it is worth confirming against your rack layout.
